The use of the mirror is advisable since they are very young. 

The general benefits of including a mirror are:

1. It allows the child to form a self-concept of herself, and to know herself as an individual being different from the mother.
2. It stimulates the baby’s movement. 
3. The baby sees with the mirror the environment and he can see us. At all times the child learns to move seeing our movement and his acts as a guide.
