Keeping in mind the philosophy of the Montessori method, the Montessori Homeschool vocabulary cards are illustrated with real elements to help the child incorporate concepts from their everyday environment. 

It is important that they understand and recognize the world they are a part of to help them adjust naturally and consciously. Going deeper into this topic, you will come across many theories which suggest that stimulating language through repetition is not ideal. 

Despite this, we must clarify that we have used them by going to repetition but only as a first step when presenting the activity. Not only do we use the cards as a “memory test” but we also incorporate them into different Montessori activities.
